Eames Shells
are
hand-crafted to order using the finest North America Birch.
All shells are beveled in proportion to thickness. A brass
nameplate and birch air vent grommet compliment each shell.
Design your own instrument from the following ply lines.

Finetone - |
6 ply (1/4") light weight thin shell with good acoustical
resonance and high end attack. |

Naturaltone - |
9 ply (3/8") mid-range shell with controlled or centered
resonance, round tone and wide tuning range. Ideal for
close miking. |

Mastertone - |
12 ply (1/2") heavy shell constructed for power projection
and long sustain with low end resonance and volume. |

Master Model Snare shell select - |
15 ply (5/8") or 24 ply (1") of select birch veneers. A
massive shell wall maximizes compression yet a thinly cut
bearing edge allows the head to vibrate freely for
response and sensitivity. Each instrument is registered in
the owner's name. |
